There will be an orientation program for exhibitors of all levels.  To be conducted in the judges lunchroom ½ hour before group time; panel includes a judge, the superintendent, and the AKC Field Representative.  This short orientation is designed to help you with any questions you might have regarding exhibiting your dog.

ATTENTION HAVANESE ENTHUSIASTS

The Havanese Club of America, in conjunction with the Blue Ridge Havanese Club, is offering a judges breed seminar which is open to the public entitled “Judging the Havanese” on Saturday, November 12. This will be immediately following the “New Exhibitor Orientation” which will be scheduled 1/2 hour before the first group. The seminar will be presented by a member of the Havanese Club of America Judges Education Committee. Ringside mentoring will be available on Sunday, November 13, 2005. ENTRY FEE (EACH SHOW): $23 for the first entry of a dog in each show (Includes $0.50 cents AKC Recording Fee & $1.50 AKC Event Service Fee) and $17 for each additional entry of the same dog in same show. Puppy Classes & Bred By Exhibitor classes are $19.  Junior Showmanship is $17.

CLOSING DATE: 12 Noon (Eastern), Wednesday, October 26, 2005 in the office of the Superintendent after which time entries cannot be accepted, canceled, or substituted except as provided for in Ch 11, Sec 6 of the Dog Show Rules.
