2005 G.R.A.C.E. AWARDS
For the fifth year, Rescue A Golden of Arizona is sponsoring the G.R.A.C.E. (Golden Rescue and Community Excellence) Awards. The Awards were created in honor of a RAGofAZ Rescue dog named Grace, who maintained her Golden dignity and sweet personality, despite years of abuse, neglect and then abandonment. The 2005 G.R.A.C.E. Awards will be presented immediately following the National Parade of Rescue Goldens. To be eligible, a dog must be a rescued Golden; previous winners may not apply. The award categories are: Heroism, Animal Assisted Therapy or Service, Education and Law Enforcement. One dog among all entries will be chosen as Outstanding Rescued Golden of 2005. Goldens may be nominated by anyone, including their owners. Nomination forms may be obtained from RAGofAZ by e-mailing Resources Director Deb Orwig at dorwigaz@cox.net, by calling the RAGofAZ hotline at 602-404-9663, by downloading a form from the RAGofAZ website at www.golden-retriever.org or by mailing a request to RAGofAZ, PO Box 31894, Phoenix AZ 85046-1894. Entries must be postmarked by July 1, 2005.
