In MemoriUm . Jim Logan 1934 2007

Jim Logan passed away September 24 unexpectedly. Jim, an AT&T retiree, lived in Mountainside, NJ.

He served four years in the Navy in the early 50s. Jim was a corpsman onboard a destroyer in the Atlantic Fleet. While at sea, he performed a successful emergency appendix operation on a fellow crewmember under the direction of a Doctor via radio.

Jim enjoyed superintending many Specialty Shows with us. He especially enjoyed doing the Yankee Golden Retriever Specialty with his wife Barbara (1936 2005) after which they spent a week or so on Cape Cod.

Jim was an avid downhill skier, tennis player, and target shooter. He was highly skilled in construction and spent a minimum of one day a week donating his time to Habitat and spent several weeks in Mississippi after hurricane Katrina.

Jim is missed by his four sons and one daughter, in addition by his two sisters Pat and Carol and his brother-in-law Bob.
